    I know for me personally its hard to beat my Winchester Model 94 Trapper in 44 Mag. That's a fun hog hunter running around in the woods with it being on the shorter side.

    Are suppressors over rated?

    The whole thing with suppressors is that they are totally subjective to your wants/needs. They are absolutely essential to some and mean nothing to others. I love suppressors wouldn't wanna shoot without mine. But if you don't shoot much or don't care to shoot more than one animal at a time...

    Thanks for the welcome! I'm thinking long range for the hunting I'll be doing is max around 600yds at least that's what I was told haha. Just hoping to learn a little while I'm here.

    I appreciate the welcome and totally understand. I'm hoping to get into more "long range" hunting because my brother wants to take me on more hunting trips. Trying to learn a bit before jumping in head first is all.

    Hey, lookin forward to being here. I'm more of a tactical shooter myself I built several ARs myself and love all of that. My brother has been trying to get me into long range shooting/hunting so I was hoping to learn more about that while I'm here.
