    Fave odd junk food combinations

Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried it, whey milk, oat milk, almond milk… just never quite the same, perhaps its just that I’m an old guy. Haha, probably just the graham crackers

    Metalworking Hunttalkers!

Nice, I’m building a workshop in the backyard for my forge; can wait to finish to pound on some hot steel.

    Fave odd junk food combinations

I used to love to kill a box of Graham crackers dipped in milk; had to break-it lengthwise, then dip in at least to the half way line, then get it in your mouth before it broke and fell back into the glass. Lactose intolerant, so no more of that!

    Ideas for Podcasts

I would listen to any podcast that included updated info on Wolf proliferation; never cared before but they sure messed up my Idaho hunt this year.

Why all the fuss about snake boots?

I wear them sometimes, we got sh*t tons down here (Ventura county, Ca.). In general your fine unless you step on one, but there are plenty of times walking in or out of a hunt when I can’t see where I’m stepping.

Light weight .308 lever action suggestions

Thought about the 30-30, but wanted the extended range the .308 offers. Also in Southern California I rarely see 30-30 rounds; .308’s I can find.

Light weight .308 lever action suggestions

Impressive lineup. The original inquiry was not based on an inability to shot; here is my elk heart shot from 160 yards using my S&W .243 (love this gun). The .243 weighs in at 7.5 lbs. and is considered on the small caliber end for Elk; my Rem 30.06 weighs almost 9lbs. I was hoping to get input...

Light weight .308 lever action suggestions

Anyone have brand preference for a light weight .308 lever action? I’m thinking it will be my pig gun, but will also use it for elk.

So Biden Asked Where's Jackie Today

I’m all for freedom of speach, but this post reminds me of when I am hunting and I’m in the zone, I’m connected with my natural surroudings, channeling my inner preditor, stalking my prey and I look down and some ass hole has tossed an empty Modelo bottle on the ground… while I share your...

Define a "Good Day Hunting" when you don't kill.

Up early enough to get in position before sunrise, cool but not freezing, no wind; no people, no ATV’s, no noise, some live animals (preferably matching the tag of the day). The rest is on me if I make a good stalk and shot.

    How loud are Wolves?

I was bowhunting in Pioneer Zone opening opening week; hiked around cow calling looking for sign at 8500ft. Came into a clearing, heard a very loud bark followed by 4 very long very loud howls. I believe the wolf figured out I was not an elk and was calling off the pack. I did not get a visual...

    Truck bed camp.

Scott85, I wonder if you might be able to rent a drywall lift and use it in the bed of your truck to hold up your shell while you change the seal?

    An arm and a leg… F***ing California.

    Truck bed camp.

Funny how all us truck guys base our decisions on being able to fit a full size piece of plywood in our trucks😆😆😆

    Truck bed camp.

After my first long “dusty” hunt; I realized that the bed was not sealed, so I used hard foam to plug the areas dust could get in; some quick weather striping on the shell lift back took care of that. So the dust is not bad even on horrible dirt roads. The only issue I have is that the memory...

    Truck bed camp.

Are you able to fold down your softtop with the bed and cooler in the back?
