    If they choose to allow you to hunt the base, the two liaisons they have that take you out are good. At least the two that they had the last several years have been really good. No idea if they’re gonna be using the same liaisons this year or not.

    This year I have no idea how it’s gonna be done either. I know they finally decided to give access to the base at the last minute and can only assume they’re gonna give access this year, but that was the whole complaint about management last season with them basically not communicating.

    Congrats on getting the tag. When I drew the tag a couple of years ago, I learned a lot about how the base was being run for the elk hunts. Unfortunately, since then the manager who was in charge of base hunts is no longer there and last year was a bit of a shit show with how it was gonna be done.
