Hunting Rig for NM
Can’t speak to your off range oryx or unit 29, but we ride dirt bikes and drive around unit 30 a lot. The roads are pretty rough in spots. We’ve gotten a ton of rain the last couple of months so without a doubt there are some crazy wash outs. Definitely bring a side by side or older vehicle.- newtexican

New Mexico Unit 34 Elk Questions
First congrats on the tags. I’ve never hunted the unit. But I live a couple hours east and we visit frequently. Lots of tourists and it can be crowded with campers and hikers. SB 312 - eliminating outfitter set asides.
As a New Mexico resident. I support the 90/10. I see now reason to allocate 10% of the tags that limits opportunities for residents and non residents.
