    .243 ammo preference

    I’ve had good luck with the Federal Fusion in 243 and I’m trying the Hornady GMX right now but haven’t been able to shoot anything with them.

    I would look on Gunbroker, Armslist and International Guns. I’ve had really good luck finding 700’s that way. Gunbroker can be a little expensive but the other two isn’t as bad if you can find what your hunting.

    Welcome Nosler Bullets and Ammunition

    I’ve shot the partition and the BT for a good while in a 243, 270, 7mm and 300. I can say that I’ve never been disappointed with them. At the end of the day it’s all about bullet placement but nosler bullets is what I’ll always shoot as long as my rifles will group them.

    I’m also from Swva. Been hunting these mountains for as long as I’ve been old enough. Also trying to plan a elk/deer hunt in Montana for this coming year. Going to try Colorado for a back up. At 23 years old I’m absolutely consumed with the ways of western hunting.
