I think the Lee 280 AI dies are the non-SAAMI variant that is not compatible with SAAMI brass or chambers.
I’m just gonna go out on a whim and say the RCBS imp 280 is a better design for feeding and function. Nearly to the same velocities as a 280 AI. That’s not important to this convo but...
RCBS will most likely. They have a bunch of non-SAAMI stuff, like 280 RCBS Imp. No reason to stay away from the RPM when they’ve already released dies in the other two in the line
They allegedly imported this rifle in 6.5x55, 8mm Mauser, 30-06, and 9.3x62. Never seen any of the others. In fact, this is the only 90 lefty Bavarian I’ve ever seen listed

I’m going to have a classical gunsmith friend of mine cut down the LOP a bit and install a red pachmayr. Don’t...
The prodigal-ish son returns
Always regretted selling my 85 Bavarian, so when I saw this absolute rarity I knew what I had to do.
Sako 90 Bavarian, 6.5 Swede
Ordered a true unicorn that, to my knowledge, was never meant to be in the USA.
Guesses on the rifle/chambering?
Side note: will be selling some firearms to offset this financial undertaking 😂
I have. I decided the little it snows and the terrain I go through typically makes getting a different truck kinda pointless. I wasn’t sliding around this last time it snowed and it only cost me 50 bucks in sand and trading my old wheels and tires
