Sounds like a great trip... Going to 22 in January (Bow) for javelina for my grandson, son and me, and deer (Hopefully coues...) for son and me. Any suggested starting points for javelina, and coues?

Wow - This story is so similar to my hunt in unit 6A. I heard bugling until 8:30 AM, tried to see elk before they saw me after that, and sat the dwindling water holes from 2:00 PM until dark after that. I was able to put a crossbow bolt (I am the "much weaker" survivor of four shoulder...
