Colorado late season bear
I have bear, wolf, deer and elk tags. They will each get some specific hunting time but it could turn a bad elk hunt into a great bear hunt haha. My tag is a bit cheaper though in mt- Peter406

My understanding is that bear hibernation is dependent on things like winter severity, availability of food and so on. If the tag isn't expensive I would grab one for sure. Thats my plan in MT anyway.- Peter406

Friend won the Montana Bison Super Tag
One of my Dads friends drew a tag last year. He had been applying for more than 15 years! At this point though he is older and not able to spend a lot of time hunting. Like your talking about the problem this guy ran into was the herds stayed in Yellowstone. They basically spent 5 or 6 days...- Peter406
