As a new resident of wyoming, I'm looking to meet some people that would like backcountry hunting for archery elk this year. I live in gillette but will hunt anywhere in wyoming. I plan to pack in for a week to dry camp and far enough to get away for the crowds. If anyone is interested pm me.
I am fairly new to wyoming myself, I moved to gillette the same time last year. I also grew up hunting waterfowl also, which I found is not that great in wyoming. I have been finding some decent areas for big game. If you want to talk about hunting let me know.
I convinced my wife to move to wyoming finally and have been living here for 7 months and love it! The best part of the plan was that my wife gets a job and I stay home with the kids until they are old enough to go to school and that I have to fill the freezer every year, I was sold!

I have lived in wyoming for almost 3 months now and it shouldn't matter what you put in for cause antelope are like varmints over here. Yes get points for good units, and one that I found is 27 to have alot of access.

I just moved to wyoming and have been hunting and fishing mostly in Oregon and am new to Wyoming. I usually hunt solo but have been thinking i would give it a try hunting with someone else. The same thing goes with fishing. I have a few tags to fill this year for whitetail and antelope.
