Born and raise in MT. I started hunting when I was 12 and shot my first cow when I was 14. I shot my first elk right next to my dad when he killed his first and only bull(so far). After we downed them, there wasn't a single elk in the valley left because of all the hoot'n and holler'n. Truly it...
Looking to sell my 6.5 PRC. It's a cool little gun that's lightweight. I thought I would really like the small stock on it and I was really excited for a smaller platform but it just doesn't really fit me right.
The gun retails for $3150 and I'm asking for $3000 I'm selling just the rifle. The...
I think I had a stroke reading that. But if its the kitty that I saw a pic of alive I don't know how someone in good conscience could pull the trigger on it.
Also as sort of a late joiner of this thread earlier this year I love this thread but I do see the problem. I was thinking about hunting...
I was pretty bummed when there were 9 trucks at the trail head at the end of a road that I thought only jeeps and atv's could make it up.
I was even more surprised that there was a dually 😂.
Well congrats to the successful hunters this season. I was DEFINITELY not one of them. First year out was definitely an eye opener and even though I'm in probably the best shape of my life I need to get in even better shape before next season. These mountains are no joke. Season consisted of the...
I totally understand this. Like you said seems that most of the boot manufactures are only online which is a real shame. One of my least favorite things to do is buy footwear online.
I think what I was trying to find was someone who has a similar situation in hopes that they already found the...
I would keep an eye on the quality and condition of of the canvas. My uncle has a wall tent that has been used for close to 30 years that still works great, but you have to be very careful with putting the canvas on the frame. The fabric has gotten weak over the years and can rip very easy.
Well I think it's time for new boots. I'm currently prepping for sheep hunting this fall and went on about a 7 mile shed hunt today. The Kenetrek mountain extremes that I've been running for about 3.5 years just aren't cutting it. I have not liked these boots since I got them. After today though...
I really like my bell tent. It is super easy and fast to set up and take down. It also handles wind and snow like a champ and it fits in a large duffle bag(60 lbs). I do have a few complaints though. If I were to do it again I would get a bigger one. Mine is 12 to 13 feet across. I would like it...
