    So much for filling my permit with a monster. I put lots of miles on the boots and tires and I think if the season would have been 3 days longer I could have got on a mature bull. However last day of season meant that rag horns were on the table or for better words in the freezer.

    I had this happen with an Accubond out of my 270 with a cow elk about 7 years ago. I shot her and hit her rib. The bullet exploded and just nicked the liver as it deflected off of the rib bone. I got her but it was a close one.

    Couldn't get this bull to leave his cows tonight. Must have been one hot cow the way he was acting. I definitely was going to shoot him if he hoped the fence. Any guesses on score? Im trying to get better at field judging.

    I have the 20 as well. It took me a whole season and probably 200 shells on the sporting clays range to finally hit with it. Once I got used to the SxS barrels it became my go to shotgun.

    Even before knocking the shoulder back I was having the problem. I have put about 400 rounds through this gun and only 60 have been factory. No issues with the factory ammo but now about 10 failures with hand loading.

My original thinking was that it the case wasn't knocked down some that there would be less distance for the firing pin to travel.
