One gun to do it all .25 sst (Sherman short tactical)

Nope. My buddy who has developed loads for several 25’s said my twist probably east fast enough. What we’ve got works great for what we are doing.

One gun to do it all .25 sst (Sherman short tactical)

Sorry to leave you hanging. I don’t frequent these boards as much as I once did. The results have been exactly what we hoped for. A buddy helped with load development that turned out great. Turns out that RL23 and 133 gn Berger Hybrids were the recipe with the best results. In the first season...

    Point Riding and "Gaming Applications"

AZ’s loyalty point isn’t exactly permanent. If you fail to apply for 5 consecutive years it is lost.

I actually can’t even get blackjacks right now. I have 100 of them back ordered since March and I don’t expect to see them anytime soon. These are the Berger Elite Hunter 133.

Latest group. Seems to have tightened up with RL23. With 56.5 gen’s she hit 3050 fps. With a little more barrel break-in I am hoping it hits over 3100. That should give it enough speed to open Berger’s out to 900 and 1500 ft lbs at 600.

This is an Axisworks titanium brake they build to match the proof barrel contour. The scope is good so far. The 4wxi reticle is a little bit of an adjustment, but being used with a lot of youth I didn’t want a lot of extra reticle lines. Haven’t had much chance to mess with the illumination...

Arizona Coues 2021-No one should be this lucky

Congrats on a new adventure. If you aren’t going to make it back out, donate that tag to OE4A. They can sign it over to a child with a disability and they can hunt for the rest of the hunt. Eddie Corona is the guy who runs it. +1 (480) 529-8340

I am having a buddy who has several 25 SST’s work on load development. Here is how the first rounds down the tube worked out The best group today @ 2971 fps I feel like it’s off to a good start.

I have had Ace’s on back order since March. Still no sign of them. I do have Hammer’s, Elite Hunters and LRHTs. All currently in load development, but really hoping the 133 Elite Hunter’s work good.

    Berger Elite Hunter Performance

That’s an astute point. Very odd that you recovered the bullet. Any chance you clipped a branch or some other obstruction before the bullet impacted the deer?

    Have canoe, will paddle…

We did a canoe-in archery deer and javelina hunt one time in AZ. That’s pretty unique. Only other real trip I have done was canoeing into Shoshone lake in YNP. Both were fun. Good luck. He sure to share your story.

If that was an arrow you could put it back in your quiver and shoot it again. I assume the deer was dead?

    Mid 50's retirees question

300 / month for roughly 43 years is like $155k total. Is one year of work worth that? It’s not a lot. But it’s a new toy 3-4x per year. All up to you. There are certainly other ways to make that money if you prefer.

Is 9mm a good round for elk?

A few years back someone killed a grizzly in Glacier with a 9mm. So I am sure it can be done. Can it be done ethically, that’s a different conversation.
