I euro mounted mine too. I put it next to a huge euro mount pig from a few years back and a euro mount wart hog from my hunt in Africa. Fun to have 3 totally different kind of “pigs” there together to compare.- MeetEtr

Long Range Hunting
Yea, he’s hard to keep up with. I had a Nosler 30 built for me. I picked it up a couple months ago and I’m mounting a good Swarovski scope on it right now. Going to get a G4 and have a custom turret made for my scope to try to keep up with him. I know I still won’t be able to hang with him...- MeetEtr

Long Range Hunting
I have taken big game at 10 yards and I’ve taken them at several hundred yards. My friend Charles shoots elk over 1000 yards all the time. I don’t consider the distance all that important. Charles shoots across canyons where others would try to stalk and in these areas they’d spook them...- MeetEtr

Advice for bringing a first timer-WY
Good info. First post for me. I appreciate the advice too. I’m taking my kid to WY this year for pronghorn. I’ll be driving there across the country and we’ll be sleeping in my campershell. Love those kind of trips.
