We have a ton of backyard buck pics. We love documenting them year over year.
I saw this buck a couple months ago, saw him a week ago with Christmas lights on his antlers, and then caught him on the trail camera today.
Hopefully he doesn't get caught on something over the next few months...

7 years in and we still have not shot one. My wife almost did this year on a buck we estimate is 7 or 8. Maybe next year.

It is very hard to judge because you get this feeling that rams of a similar age in the same group should be of a similar size and that just doesn't appear to be true. Obviously genetics play a part.

Get the dog that you think is the right fit for you. Regardless of apartment or large yard it will be your dedication to the dog that will make it successful. A hyper dog in a hunting situation can be very calm in any home when trained properly.

Yes. Most definitely. CA had something similar. Hunting and/or fishing license was your pass to access their SWAs. Other users (bird/wildlife watchers, mountain bikers. Etc.) were supposed to pay a day use fee, or buy some sort of pass. Next to no one ever did!
