On Alaska I had to have non TSA locks, I bought a pack of master keyed padlocks. (Like other have said, TSA locks are basically useless and master keys are easy to get and there are many theives.) you will go with the official and open your case when checking it in. Arrive early.
The problem I found with using a suppressor on PD’s is that in high volume shooting, the suppressor gets hot very fast and throws my accuracy off. In lower volume situations, they are great.
I cut some of my varmint barrels to accommodate suppressors, others I left unthreaded. My opinion is...
How about renting an excavator with a thumb? Plucking a 6” pine shouldn’t take a very large machine. if you have an experienced operator it can go pretty fast.
I have to agree, putting them in jail isn’t optimal, However, what about the cost to society and the economy overall? The graffiti, trash, pooping all over the place, theft, hard drugs, etc.? What about the fixed income and lower income law abiding people that have no choice but to live in the...
An additional component is the breakdown/absence of the traditional family structure.
i agree, drugs and overly generous handouts are certainly big contributors. Here in the Puget sound area they are housing the homeless drug addicts and mentally ill in hotels- adding more rooms all the time...
That sounds great! I wish I had more opportunity to use my .300 BLK on deer. My son and I shoot ragged hole groups at 50 yds with it (V-max 110’s and Lil gun).
So, you would rather commit waste of an animal you shot instead of trying every reasonable means possible to get the deer? Do you suggest to keep shooting/wasting them until one drops in a convenient location? That’s real noble of you.
Realistically, I’m sure they have a plan put together to...
Take a flashlight or two and someone strong to help with the deer and go look after bedtime?
if somehow you get caught and chewed out, apologize, and explain you are trying to do the right thing.
I would go with you if I could. Wear your camos.
My 2 cents.
I deer hunt with a 80yo, with severe arthritis in both shoulders, and a bullet manufacturer. We have taken over 35 deer with .223 caliber and smaller on the ranch we hunt. What we have found to be key is both bullet placement and bullet construction, with caliber a distant third...
We had our usual fiasco on opening day. To review.. my buddy Dan forgot to put a bullet in his chamber last year. This year, buddy Jim for some reason, likely odd, or even probably bizarre, decided to not bring his rifle on the hunt. Plenty of tags, but no rifle? He takes buddy Dans rifle...
My buddies and I will ask and say all kinds of wacky things while hunting and at the bar in the evening. It is entertaining. The objective is to say things that are maybe believable, but certainly very odd. Mislabeling animals, claiming we eat gopher nuts, (I like ‘em jerkeyd), wasting a day...
I think in some cases “gamey” flavor comes from meat stored/aged in too warm of temperatures- it is actually spoiled.
I get my field dressed deer skinned and hung in a walk in, asap, usually within an hour after the kill. I’ve never had a problem or heard a complaint.
Portland can still be okay. BUT never leave anything of any value, at any time, in an unattended car and use judgement where and when you go.
A Dungeness crab feast. Way more fun preparing it yourself, rather than at a restaurant. Some local experts crack the shells by tapping them with a empty...
