New Barrel Break In
I clean after every shot for the first 10 then after every other for the next 10. I've done a ton of barrels this way and almost every time after 7 or 8 shots you start to see a really significant change in the amount of fouling. It does seem to have a relatively small effect on accuracy. -

How much time spent in a unit
Stick with a unit unless you have a reason to leave apart from not seeing elk. You've already done the work on eliminating some of the places elk aren't. Why go to a new unit and start over? -

Generosity to non-residents
Tags should be issued to meet management goals, not popularity contests. If there's a management reason to get rid of B tags that's one thing, getting rid of them for the sake of getting rid of them is asinine.- amo16

Who deserves a tag?
I'd love to see nothing but random draws across the board with states setting the resident/NR ratio. 90% resident seems pretty fair in my book. Ammoseek Question
There are some scammers that will pop up on ammoseek sometimes but the bigger issue is the price gouges. Not so much the kind that are asking $80 for a brick of primers but the ones that will ask 2 to 3 times that. I really wish ammoseek wouldn't give these guys a platform for this.- amo16
