Idaho NR vs. Outfitter tag allocations
I know it seems a bit skewed but one thing Idaho has done compared to 100% draw states is set up a system so outfitters can build a business and count on X number of hunters each year, in a draw only area you can book hunts and know one draws and then your out of luck I have several outfitters... -

well Im back home after 2 weeks in Colorado had a good season saw lots of elk maybe 150 or so yea im sure some of the same multiple days esp the 3 spikes that seem to show up every day lots of cows a few moose and some nice bear Saw probably 20 bulls 10 shooters (legal bulls) and a few 5x5 an... -

Well after I posted about mom an honest had tears in my eyes typing it I did a few cow calls from my spot and 400 yrds away a cow stood up then another and a 3rd then a very nice 6x6 stood up too would have easily been the biggest I ever took nice fish tails on the back I danced with him all... -

Eastern black bears
I hunt Pa archery for bear and have taken a few, IMO its all about food they can be hammering corn then once acorns drop they disappear from corn fields and will be all over the oaks then back to corn after One thing I do it to not set up right on a corn field even tho it can work but I've found...- dgc1963

Going to leave next week Im not to worried about the 1st week temps are going to be hi then cool off also the ranch does border BLM on east n north its pretty tough to get to except through the ranch but if their are folks on the public 1st week may just make em move into ranch even more Now... -
