Matagorda Island is a cool high success rate hunt. A pain to get to since you have to bribe a local with a boat but there's some decent bucks taken there. Which devil's river hunt the did you do? Del Norte? Any good ones you recommend to put in for? Only cool one I got to do was JD Murpree alligator hunt when I was 15. Black gap javelina was tough. Only 2 people got one. James Daughtry was not fun either for deer. Could have been a bad blind though- Redraider7

How do you know all this? ha Facebook posts? I guess it all doesn't mean much because Texas hunts are so hard to draw. I drew a quail hunt for the first hunt in like 10 years and I apply for about 30 hunts a year. To be honest I don't think many of the hunts are very good hunts to begin with.- Redraider7
