    It's made by "Big Chris". I paid $475 for it at Blade Show last year. It's deboned and "processed" 2 deer and still easily shaves.

    I use a boning knife made by Big Chris. There's no good reason to spend a bunch of money on a boning knife, but you're not going to find anything better.

    I killed my antelope within an hour and was harassed by a rancher who wanted to act like he owned all the BLM ground around his place. Good times! Make sure you have onx and use the tracker feature.

    I have a handful of big game rifles, and my weatherby vanguard sporter in 257 weatherby is probably the most consistently accurate factory rifle of the bunch. They are one of the best values on the market in my opinion.

    What would you do?

    Apply for the unit you want as a 1st choice and a guaranteed unit as 2nd choice. If you draw your 2nd choice you get to hunt AND continue building points. That has worked great for us both times we've gone. On our last trip, all four of us tagged out by the end of the 2nd morning.
