Ya right now I only have $100 in to it. Bought it from a friend. Today I lost a little piece on the right hand side by the safety. Looks like both sides had little wedges glued on to the top of the main wood section. Must have just used a smaller piece for the main section to cut cost
Looking to replace the stock on Richland Arms SxS 20 GA and I can not find one anywhere online. From what I gather this gun was made in Spain by Zabala Hermanos and that it is a fairly inexpensive gun. Anyone have a suggestion on getting a new stock for it? Mostly need the butt stock. The forend...
It appears that this information is all on regards to one of the rifle seasons. Anyone been in there during ar hery/muzzleloader? My better half has a muzzy tag so we will be there for the whole season. Probably be doing 2-3 day pack sessions unless we find something we like. Was looking in this...
Little update. She got the tag. We now have a tub of blackhorn, a new breech plug, 30 300 gr thors in .500 and a Williams precision sight on the way. Anyone interested in sharing some inside on units 12/23/24 feel free to message me. Now just got to get her shooting and keep hitting the gym
Girlfriend should be pulling a unit 24 muzzy tag this year. Main question I have is what to shoot it with. I have never been in love with muzzleloaders but I want her to have a good rut experience and she doesn't bowhunt. Any thoughts/ideas/feedback would be great in regards to loads or the hunt...
Which has the bigger impact on elk? Currently on our way back to WI from MT. Seems there wasn't much recent elk activity up high, everything was fairly low, under 7000. So, being fairly inexperienced at elk hunting, does the dry conditions move elk lower sooner or dry with a combination of...
Well the elk were fairly easy to find just impossible to shoot. Either never left private or were too far from fields when they got on public. Never thought too far on public could be a real thing. Neat to see all the elk but not my 1st choice for an elk hunt, thats for sure.
Thanks for the tip Fowl Hunter. That is our plan. We marked a bunch of pivots that are fairly adjacent to some terrain. Plus we know where we saw elk in September in the mountains so we have a couple of reasonable guesses. My guess is this will be one end or the other of the spectrum. Either...
I typically agree. This time its a little different as we are severely limited on the country we can hunt. I would be all smiles if we could as far in as necessary to get away from other ppl. Thats my biggest concern, 100s of other ppl looking at the same land with the same intentions.
Lady wasn't overly helpful. Anyone passing through this post, can you at least confirm if its possible to find elk accessible without a trespass fee? I see no snow in the salmon/may/leadore area which doesn't make me believe wlk will be real accessible "within 1 mile of irrigated agriculture "...
My buddy and I were out in the Lemhi zone in September and got our butts kicked with our bows. We have now been thinking about coming back to try filling our tag on a cow. Anyone have experience with this? I believe we have to be within a mile of irrigated fields. Is there a list of ranchers...
