Multiple rounds in the exact same hole sounds like something I would be more likely to use as an explanation for a round(s) that completely missed the paper, lol
It’s not one of your options and I know some people don’t care for them but I had a Taurus 66 in 357 that was a great gun. Super accurate, shot a lot of rounds through it without ever a problem.
I have a total of 43 pieces of 300 win mag brass. One box of Remington still in the Remington box, plus 23 loose pieces of mixed headstamp.
These were in with a bunch of reloading stuff I inherited and I have no need for this caliber. No idea how many firings but it all looks to be in good...
One hunt I’ve always wanted to do is an archery deer hunt on lake of the woods Ontario, from a houseboat! About 10 years ago when we lived in northern Ontario we rented a houseboat on LOTW for a few days and it was an amazing trip. All those hundreds of islands had lots of whitetails on them...
Thanks, yeah I’ve been looking there too. Looking like I’m going to need to save up for awhile, not much in that price range. I saw one at a yard sale a couple years ago for 50 bucks and have been kicking myself ever since for not buying it!
Anybody have a smaller old wall tent gathering dust that they'd like to part with? Don't need anything very big, I usually hunt alone. I don't mind having to build a frame, fix some small holes, etc. I only have around $200 to spend.
If anyone has something laying around they'd be willing to...
Answered the survey. Well thought-out questions, thanks for doing this. I look forward to seeing the results.
It did seem like the section on hyalite WSA, specifically question 6, could have included a different answer choice for those of us who have never been there. Having to choose a...
Montana elk and deer. Applying for a limited permit, but will most likely end up with just general tags. Both archery and rifle.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Just looked up the serial number, it’s a 1945. It was bought new by my great-grandfather, kinda skipped my grandmother, and was passed down to my uncle. I inherited it when he passed away last year.
I think I’m getting the hang of it now, still just using the seat / crimp combo die but doing it in 2 steps. Was also careful to trim all the brass to the exact length. Just did another 25 rounds and they all chamber just fine.
Thanks for the help everybody!
Thank you. I’ll keep playing with trying to get the right seating depth and crimp with this die for now but I will definitely consider ordering one of the carbide factory crimp dies you mentioned.
