Problem with ID is decreasing moose tag numbers, and the way they do the NR cap- it makes odds look a lot better than they are. Albeit it's a game I do play.- 12ring

If I were a WY resident I'd keep throwing my name in the hat. As a nonresident last year was my last year for moose pts, I'm done with the $150 point fee, fortunately I drew a tag. I haven't been doing sheep, and won't be.- 12ring

Best pack for the money???
I have a Kuiu Icon Pro 7200, that I switch out with a 1800 w/ the 7200's lid for a daypack. One of my sons has the same pack. Another son has that SG Sky 5900. I purchased all three packs. My first elk tag... Utah
Congrats. SW desert does not usually experience the monsoon season like AZ and NM, so hope for a dry Aug and know where the water is. That being said the NOAA is forecasting a wetter than normal summer in Utah. At least that's good for back ends. Have a second spair for your truck and trailers... -

BuzzH- thanks for calling this out. I am assuming their notice that this will be closed during the summer season includes September and October. Sounds like you can hike in off road/off trail, but that sure is a hump if you killed a moose (I believe about 3+miles to the reservoir). Also, I...- 12ring
