Probably a long shot...
If you work for the Western Area Power Admin, I have some questions for you about a potential opportunity in Colorado.
That is all. Thanks.
In the beginning stages of planning on a move around 700 miles and curious if anyone has paid a company to move or not?
Pro's & Con's?
Already started a cost comparison for diy vs a company. Have a few quotes in. If you have any suggestions on a company, I'm all ears and especially if they...
Had one tag in my pocket and just a few days to hunt. Drove up to Wyoming Saturday and spent Sunday visiting family and friends. Monday met a few friends in Laramie and headed out. Spent the morning glassing and finally a few turned up out of the hills.
Was able to hunt public and adjacent...
Heading to Table Rock for the rest of the week, anyone have any hidden gems?
I recently learned of a Bass Pro outlet store in Springfield so I'll be checking it out as well.
Hope the crappie aren't shy!
This was a quick trip with spawn number 1, we only had a total of 3 days to hunt and 1 day to scout in central Wyo. Originally I was just planning on going solo and spending a week with my tent, but that changed when spawn #1 used his mothers persistence and I finally caved and called him out of...
Just looking for some input, my 7 year old son and I are heading to Wyoming this weekend and will be up there for a week. We have a plan where we'd like to camp, but wanted to get some opinions.
I've got a 68-1 and a 69-6 tag, so I'm planning on camping on Pathfinder. The concern is fuel, the...
I do a lot of driving for work and enjoy listening to audio books and podcasts. I'm all over the place as far as genres go, just finished up the audio book covering the BTK killer (Bind, Torture, Kill) as well as catching up on all my hunting podcasts.
Looks like I've got a lot more driving...
Took off for an afternoon for a quick trip to the pond. Had a great bite on the ultra lite. First time keeping perch so I'm all ears on tips/tricks to clean or cook em. I ended up just cutting the fillet out this go round.
Anyone have any homemade fish batter or other recipes they'd share? I have a pile of catfish fillets and separated them in 3 lb bags. Want to play around with different recipes.
Want to try freshwater ceviche as well.
Anyone ever have any success? Gave it a go this weekend after finding out most places close to home were sold out. I failed miserably. Any tips or tricks would be great. I could easily grab a shovel but now I'm determined to get this to work!
Caught walleye, saugeye, crappie, perch, large mouth, white bass and even a flathead. Nothing big was caught, just a lot of fish and had a good time! We went to this lake to target Hybrids and stripers below the damn, caught everything but the ones we were after!
We've been looking for a Jack-of-all-trades boat for some time and found what we think is a good one. Only issue is I've never had any experience with this brand and wondering if anyone has?
The boat:
2004 Nautic Star 200SC Sport Deck
115hp 4-Stroke Yamaha
Has livewell/Fish finder
80lb thrust...
About soiled my britches when I sat down to tie on a new jig this afternoon. Down in Texas for work and brought my fishing gear. Are snakes out year round down here?
Hoping to get a little advice from some fellow HT's, my brother in law and I will be on a road trip at the end of January and looking for a good pit stop idea. He and his family are moving back home to Cheyenne and I'll be helping, he and I are driving while the little one and momma are flying...
Well it looks like work is sending me to Wichita Falls, TX for six weeks spanning from Jan-early Mar and I'm looking for things to do on my off time. Anyone familiar with the area or have any ideas they'd like to pitch? I know I'll be pretty limited on hunting opportunities during that time of...
Archery season didn't pan out, had opportunities but due to my own demise it didn't work out. So work, life and antelope season prevented me from going back out but I had a spot in my back pocket that I figured no one would hunt or at least very few would traverse away from the easy hikes and...
I'd like to start this post off with the one quote that was repeated multiple times throughout this weekend, "thank god for Onx!" This was a new unit we hunted and prior to the draw results, never stepped foot in the unit. Well my non-res brother (Maine) drew all three of his antelope tags (1...
