    I'd not get closer than 3/4 of a mile, but that all depends on the terrain, prevailing winds and thermals.

    66.6 Re17 with the 168 TTSX & CCI250has shot well in all three of the 300 WSM rifles I've tried it in. 3100fps with that bullet will do anything that needs to be done.

    I've been using a couple Thunder Beast suppressors for the last couple years and just recently got my Ultra 7 out of ATF jail (paperwork wait). That Ultra 7 has to be the most awesome suppressor on the market right now. Just amazing. only 9.6 ounces and quieter than the previous-generation 9"...

    I'd load the 129 LRX from Barnes. Gives you a bit better BC and slightly lower expansion threshold than a TTSX.

    I see I'm one of several new guys from TN on the board. I love my home state, but my heart is always set on Wyoming. Can't wait for September. Drew a unit 45 type 1 this year with another TN buddy and am counting the days. We've been hunting general units for several years while we saved points...
