Yes, I do 250* until ~120-125, then take it out and crank the grill to High (mine goes to about 475*), put the meat it back in for about 10 minutes and crisp the outside, remove and let it rest for about 10-15 min before slicing- LuketheDog

He's not wrong, I'd bet the vast majority of whitetails graze daily or at least weekly in ag fields treated with some sort of fertilizer or pesticides, as do many mule deer and elk. There's a chance some of the big game critters I've killed have probably hit an alfalfa field at some point, but...- LuketheDog

Motorcycle for access?
I rode a Honda 250x, a KTM 450exc, and a KTM 640 Adventure, all would be great for getting into areas I wouldn't take my truck, but I'm not sure I'd want to ride any of them up or down technical trails with a 70lb pack. That trials bike setup in your first picture would be a lot of fun though!- LuketheDog
