The tag is 10/13-10/17 with 50% odds. Looking at historical weather data it doesn't seem the snow has come yet to push the elk down. Thanks for all the input.- matthbrown1022

Wyoming Elk Unit 111 Cow Tag
Hello all, I'm looking to pick up a leftover cow tag (111-7). The limitation on the tag states "Cow or calf valid off the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission's Morgan Creek Wildlife Habitat Management Area". From Des Moines, but not headed out west until November at earliest. Brother is tied up until harvest is over. Hoping he gets done before Colorado OTC elk season ends. Otherwise we'll just be heading to Wyoming for coyotes this year! Good luck all, it's killing me not having a hunt planned...- matthbrown1022

Yep, I have all that. I was talking more hunting strategies... Do I just find a ridge and glass all day. Do I sit over a water hole. Do I just walk around aimlessly til I see one? I'm not an idiot and this isn't a first time hunt for me out west. Just first time on pronghorn.- matthbrown1022
