Montana elk hunt
I just read that a Guide and Hunter were attacked in Boulder Basin (outside of Cody) Wyoming by a grizzly while they were cutting up an elk. Attacked both people and made off with a hind quarter. -

Rifle and caliber question
elkhunter, I hand load for my 325. I load a 200 grain nosler with 64.1 grains of H4831. I am getting good results at 300 yards. -

I'd shoot the 7mm, great caliber and shoots flat with enough for elk. Moose are big animals, hit any animal in the right spot and it's dead. -
