    Id skip the haul rd drive with the family... Alot could go wrong on that road and leave you broke down and take alot more time. Drive South instead. Go to Seward on whale watch trip. Or go Valdez.. both pretty drive. Nice towns.. IMO I would also skip Fairbanks. Was a waste of day for us...

    Wife wants to go back to Alaska in August 2024 for DIY Caribou. Then I am heading into Frank Church Wilderness for 15 days with Elk, Deer, and couple wolf tags. Couple buddies want to go Nebraska this spring chase turkeys so I may go too.

    Throw this idea out there. My last pickup i bought was a used Chevy Duramax 2500 crew cab. 8 ft bed I put high rise cap on it. I will never ever own anything ever again without 8 ft bed.. Amazing to have a truck that can haul so much.. Especially plywood and 2x4s that fit with Tailgate...
