Randy, you did an awesome job with the show and the whole wolf issue. I thank you for taking the forefront on this issue and standing up for all hunters rights. I appreciate what you do for all of us.

The Nuge Speaks ..... again.

nuge speaks...again I have to agree with most everyones opinion on uncle ted. However, Bob Foulkrod once told me, " would you rather have your son spend a week with michael jackson or ted nugent?" He's not the best spokesperson, but he speaks.

Plan "B' Options

Plan B options.. Consider looking into Idaho for over the counter tags.....good elk numbers and lots of land to hunt. Very rugged country though, but doable.

Hot darn...just found out I drew a non-resident Wyoming elk tag, unit 38. Any one able to give info on this unit. I plan on a 10 day DIY backpack hunt in mid september. Can you get away from the crowds in this area, or is it too accessible. Hope everyone else's luck was as good as mine this time.

I am much obliged for the info....looks like my brothers and I will try for the second week of May and hope for good weather....and if the good lord is willing, we'll walk out of there without a grizzly bite

Thanks for the info...we will probably hike in for overnight hunts, then back to truck next day. Sounds like we should plan for May hunting.

Idaho unit 10...

Does anyone here have experience spring bear hunting in Idaho, unit 10. What type of terrain? Best time to hunt that area? Any info will be greatly appreciated, as myself and two of my brothers are wanting to head there this spring for a bear hunt, spot and stalk.
