Reading material during hunts
There was a thread on here that I can't find where authors were recommended for good reads while hunting. I can't find it. All I know is someone mentioned Lee Child. Gone thru 10 of his books so far. Read everything CJ Box has written. Any advice on some other good authors of fiction...- birddog32

Shotguns, barrels and slugs
Have shot Winchester 1300 for years with first smooth barrel (rifled slugs), and rifled barrel (sabots) . 75 yards max. Plan on switching to a Savage 220 in the very near future. Bolt, with rifled barrel. All kinds of slugs out there and barrels can be picky about what they like. -

Hip replacement?
Had right hip replaced at 52 yr old and went on elk hunt in the BOB 9 months later. You will wish you had it done sooner. -

Losing a friend...
