All, I got lucky and finally drew a Unit 76 (CO) muzzleloader elk tag. I've been in the unit a bunch and know it pretty well. Would anyone know someone that could help with horses? I'll be backpacking but would like a ride in and hopefully get an elk out. I'll be solo so I won't need a big pack... -

There are some point holders that drew general tags with seriously high preference points. I mean high. -

Hornady 7 PRC a Lie?
For what it’s worth…. I’m averaging 2939 fps with an STDV of 18.8 out of a 20” barrel with 175 gr Hornady ELDX factory loads. I’ll start working up hand loads this summer to see where it goes.- hogcarpy
