    Commercial

A good commercial that should be broad casted in the early spring and fall. Good to see that the sportsman is getting some recognition for his cash out lay.:hump:

    Colo OTC seasons

If you are not going archery, I have found the second season most productive for OTC. If you can get access to private land, then I would hunt third season. The weather gods will determine your success.

    Eastern Washington Mule Deer

Try reading (slowly if needed) all the posts and try to grasp the jist of the responses.

    Eastern Washington Mule Deer

WOW.....what a great response from so many. Some of you are correct, I did not properly introduce myself and for that I apologize. I guess my concern was that while I was looking at various past posts on different sections of this forum there didn't seem to be a lot of recent action. Again my...

    Eastern Washington Mule Deer

Well see, here's the problem. Wallup lake is not on the east side of the state according to my map, so I'm guessing there might not be a lot of Mule deer. And the DOW interactive map is not the best IMO, so that isn't much help. And the pissy attitude is really disapointing from fellow hunters...

    Spotter or Binocs

I hunted many years in CO for deer and elk (taken several of both) and never needed a spotting scope. A very good pair of binocs was all I ever needed. If you are strictly trophy hunting on leased land or with an outfitter, then a spotting scope would be handy.

    Eastern Washington Mule Deer

Well heck yes I'm from Vancouver, but I've only been on the east side only 2 times, and the first one was my move here from Colorado. 13 years of to and from work, with very little fun time in between, so I feel like a newbie, but I really LOVE Washington. I just didn't get out much. I'm trying...

    Eastern Washington Mule Deer

I am planning to hunt mule deer this fall in Eastern Washington state, but I can't determine the best place to start scouting. I am not familiar with Washington, but I like the idea of open areas to hunt. I will be using an OTC tag for bucks since I'm new to the area. Does anyone have any...

Looking for Washington State hunt partner

Thanks for the replies everyone. Yes, I am currently getting back into rifle hunting, but I use to do alot of bow hunting in CO also. IMO there are no bad ways to hunt if it gets you into the woods. I am leaning towards the east side to hunt because I prefer more open areas, and a little dryer...

Looking for Washington State hunt partner

Hi All, I'm just getting back into hunting this year after being out for over 18 years. Actually I've never hunted in Washington, a job transfer brought me here from Colorado in 1996. Now I have the time to hunt, but am lost about the best way to begin. I use to hunt alot of game in CO. but am...
