    Lee Case Trimmers

I have lee trimmers for all of my cartridges. I finally got the zip trim and boy what a difference. One thing that I noticed about the lee trimmers is that sometimes you need to make sure that the trimmer is screwed down all of the way on the cutter. It don't take much to make sure but it's...

    How old do bears get?

I shot one once that was 22 years old also, her teeth were wore flat and she was blind with cataracts. So seems to me that 20 plus years is the top end. This was from the MT FWP lab in Bozeman MT. That's where all of the testing is done. Every bear shot in Montana has to be checked in, and part...

He's definately more fatter than...

    Hodgdon bought IMR--Whooda thunk?

I use several IMR powders, and to be truthful, I don't always feel that change is bad. I just hope that they do what they say and leave the plant alone and leave the powder as is. That's my opinion. The only change I would like to see in the IMR line-up would be short cut or ball powders.

Look who was in my back yard last evening...

Here's a better picture of the same bear. This is the next day. He's small, I would guess 4 to 5 years old. You can see my latter I was using to pick the plums with in the back ground.

Look who was in my back yard last evening...

He was 30 yards tops. I was in my wife walnut tree picking walnuts and my hollars at me and says what's that, I look around and said that's a bear. So got the dogs in the house and grabbed the camera and told the wife to grab my 44 mag just in case and she brings me the 45. I figured that would...

This was fun taking the pictures, but I had a gun with me the whole time.
