Any opinions on Milk River whitetails?

I assume you muzz hunt ? If so there are some great opportunities for whitetails on public land in Colorado. It will usually take 4 to 5 years to get a muzz tag in a good unit. Unit 103, Bonny Reservoir, is probably the best as far as trophy quality. Not as good as private land but they really...

Any opinions on Milk River whitetails?

If you have money to burn look into hunting the Arkansas River in eastern Colorado. I couldn't tell you honestly if there is any differance in trophy quality but they always take a few booner whitetails each year along the river. Average cost of a trophy guided deer hunt on good private leases...

    Idaho Trophy Quality ??????

I was hoping some of you Idahoans could tell me what you think the trophy quality for deer and elk is in the Elk City units, unit 14 specifically. I have been invited to hunt there next year and would like to know what to reasonably expect. Thanks in advance.

Where to go for Big Muley?

Colorado. Look into Eagle, Pitkin, Mesa, Montrose and Garfield counties. There are also big muley's on the plains but it is mostly private land and near impossible to access. colorado refund/pref. point

Don't worry Moosie. Their website is very unreliable. They don't have my dad or any of his info in there either. They had my info way hoosed until a few months ago. What their computers say and what their website says are two completely different things. I would call them to ease your worries...

    Color Variations

Haven't gotten one yet. Plenty of chances though.I have seen blondes, cinnamons, browns and blacks. I have heard that the drier the climate the more color phase and lighter they get. Where we usually hunt they are blonde or cinnamon, either would work just fine for me.

    Arizona Muley's

Anybody have a good idea where the best spots for muley's in AZ are ? I am going to begin applying this year for deer in Az. I don't care how bad the draw odds are really. I see in B&C that Coccinino County is a big producer of trophy bucks. Does anyone know what unit this is ? 10 ? Spank you.

    300 Mag Users !!!!!

What are some of your favorite elk and muley loads you have worked up ? Bullet weight, brand, powder ? Santa bought me a 300 WIN for Xmas and I have just started working up 200 grain Nosler Partitions using RL 22 powder. I am using the gun strictly for elk and bear. I stick to my 7 mag for deer...
