    danr55, Sad News!

    6.5 Bobcat anyone?

Running the Data on my Q/L it will get 100fps better velocity with 4.5gr. less powder. Using a Nosler 120gr B.T. and 49.7gr RL-19, 3,100fps. My 6.5-06 using 54.2gr RL-19, 3,009fps. To match a 264 Win Mag (82 grains of H2o), you are better off going with a 6.5 WSM.

    6.5 Bobcat anyone?

Dan, the H2o capacity is 57.8 grains. Yes, there are no dimensions posted. Don't want anyone coping them until I make a reamer. I could post a pic of the chamber too.

    6.5 Bobcat anyone?

here is a new wildcat I am designing. A 6.5 Bobcat. It is based on the .243 WSSM necked up and with my changes in the case dimensions. It estimates on my Q/L as more velocity than a 6.5-06 and less powder!:D

Dan, glad to see that you found a good load. I really enjoy mine and it usually is the talk of the range when I bring it out to shoot. Not many people wildcat at the range I go to. Hope you get more time to get out!

Hi Dan, how is that .25 WSM shooting? I haven't heard from you since I passed on the starting loads that worked for me. Have you killed anything with it yet?:D I also wanted to ask, what barrel you went with.

    Hi, I'm John Edwards....

Don't worry, EG is still trying to think of a comeback to explain why Klintoon never took Sudan's offer of Bin Laden!!!!! That was before 911 and may (although I can't say for sure) may have prevented 911. We wouldn't even be discussing Tora Bora!!!!!! Don't blame Bush for Kintoon's...

    Hi, I'm John Edwards....

EG, Do you have proof that Bin Laden was actually there????? I don't think so and if you can be that Lame to think he was going to let himself be cornered you are smoking some bad chit!!!!! Bin Laden most likely was in Pakistan long before the U.S. actually waltzed in to Afgahnistan and I would...

    Hi, I'm John Edwards....

First off was Bin Laden there? No one exactly knew for sure. The fact that we used War Lords was to keep it from looking like it was the U.S. against the Muslims. I would much rather we drew them into Iraq then have them drawn into the U.S. and fight them here. I think that he resigned because...

    Handloading software?

Yes, QuickLoad is the way to go if you have the extra cash to spend. It is also the best as far as making loads and seeing what you get before you get to the range as far as pressure and velocity. Jude

    Wildcat data?

Darren, yes the QuickLoad has more bells and whistles. On some cartridges it does give about 200 fps less velocity reading though. I don't know why. Seldom Ever, There is a differance in price and LFAD is a lot cheaper and does have somethings that the more expensive QL has such as LFAD has a...

    Wildcat data?

Snake, you aren't the only one who uses, well, has a Powley. I have had these since 1982. Althought I don't use it since I bought the ballistic programs as they are easier to use! And more fun too! Jude

    Wildcat data?

Hi Darren, I would buy at least one of two programs that are about the best on the market for not only "Wildcat" but all data. The first is the cheapest and very good. It is called Load From A Disk. Cost is $60.00 and all the data I received from it was closer that the more pricier Q/L...

    .338 loads with X bullets

Cali., I don't know if measuring your rounds would help, although I appreciate your offer. I just wanted to see were abouts you started because I bought some for my 338 about a month ago from a Midway sale, and plan on loading some soon. I will most likely start at .030 off the lands and go from...

    Lyman Super Moly Coating?

brokfut, here are a few pics although they aren't too exciting. Just wanted to show what I do as far as bullet coating. I feel this way is better because you don't have to buy another bowl just for coating. I would follow WDSWIFT's suggestion as he is always very helpful!!! Thanks WD for some...
