    I often check E-Bay for reloading equuipment. You can get some older used equipment very cheap to see how you like reloading, then if bitten by the bug and you go all out for top of the line new stuff, you can still use your old press for other reloading chores on your bench.

    For short range 75 yards or less, why not try a 44 mag in either a lever or the new ruger auto. The 44 seems to work better than what a foot pound measurment chart would say. Low recoil, and a lot of frontal area. It depends on how low of recoil you want to go, and how far you want to shoot...

    Catfish

    engman99, Rod and reel man! I have fished this river all of my life, and know how to find them. All are chanal cats, and I have some that have topped 20lbs. Most are eating size in the 2-5lbs size. We can use two rods in ND, and the action can get hot at times.

    I have heard that the rem works best with heavy bullets, 115-120gr. I would suggest trying them first.

    Catfish

    I farm for a living, but since the river is right here, it is about the only body of water I get time to fish on. The fighing is great for catfish, and the walleye in the fall are something to behold.

    How many of you like to fish for catfish? I live on the red river of the north, and the fishing is great. If I take the boat out, I will catch 15-20 an hour. I have been thinking of guiding in the summer. Any suggestions on how to best do this?

    How big can a hog get before it is not good to eat

    I have never hunted hogs, but would like to same time. My question is, how big can hogs get before the meat is not real good to eat?
