I just wanted to tell everybody that helped me with maps, tips, how to's and baggage issues THANK YOU!!!. I learned alot from you guys that saved me alot of headaches on my recent (Afognak) Kodiak brown bear hunt. If any of you ever need any help or info for southern Utah, let me know.The bear...- Petey

Gear checked as baggage?
I was wondering if anybody could give me a little advice on bringing my large (bad lands 4500) pack to AK? I looked on the Alaska Airlines website and found that it would cost me at least $50 each way to bring as checked baggage ie if it is not over weight or exceeds measurment standards...- Petey

2009 Fall Brown Bear....Help!!!
Hello all!! I am a new member to this site but, have been browsing it from time to time the last few years. I just found out that I have drawn a 2009 Fall brown bear tag for the eastern portion of Afognak!!!! I could use some advice and any info on areas that are more productive than others...- Petey
