It's true. A couple years ago I was somewhere else with an elk tag.....and during the course of that hunt I had 7 different mule deer that were probably 160"ish in rifle range 🙄
Not a harvest photo but I'm posting it in this thread anyway cuz it was one of the coolest experiences I've had. Here's me this season with a deer tag in my pocket questioning my life choices 😅
I drew a KY archery tag in 2024. Hunted with an outfitter (who was awesome and I still talk to), but saw two cows the entire hunt. My guide said all these same things. Bears are out of control and doing incredible damage to calf recruitment. In addition, habitat is getting worse, especially due...
Looking forward to hearing this. I agree the two party "system" is frustratingly dysfunctional. There's too many lobbyists, special interests, donors, etc involved. And when push comes to shove, both parties usually end up being two acts of the same clownshow.
I'm actually pretty excited about this one. No need to buy a new rifle with a new chambering, and it seems to be leaning into the idea of doing more with less. I think Federal kinda read the room and made a good move by applying the technology to an existing cartridge, and picking a cartridge...
Some very important races going on that could have huge implications for many issues, including conservation. Coloradans, you will be getting a new governor this year. Make no mistake, the outgoing guy was a problem, but be cautious and discerning with the next one. I cannot emphasize enough...
I have not personally taken any big game with anything in the .224 realm yet but the more research I do the more I'm willing to try. At the very least my .223 is going to end up in the deer woods this fall.
I earned mine in college. Flying is incredibly fun and I hope to pick it back up in the future. You will learn that there are four forces of flight. Lift, weight, thrust and drag. However, there is a fifth force and without it airplanes don't fly. Money 😂. Unfortunately that is why I had to put...
I'm late but I'm caught up now lol. All I will say is that I hope they make a difference and I am really glad to see they oppose transferable landowner tags. Nothing against landowners, but special transferable tag programs are a problem that hurt access in numerous states, including my own.
Things like the NAS3 cases are definitely more interesting to me than another new cartridge that is marginally different from last year's new cartridge and will be marginally out performed by next year's new cartridge and oh by the way none of these new cartridges are widely supported because...
