A Pastor Lays His hands on the flock

New Orleans has some good food, no doubt. Lafayette, Louisiana is on a whole other level.

    Coues Deer

Haven’t decided. Leaning towards high desert just because I have spent almost zero time in that type of country and ai have spent a bit of time in the pines. Chaparral/Juniper 4000’-5500’ is what have mostly been looking at. Definitely want to check out some of the pine country just below the...

    Coues Deer

I am getting ready for my first Coues hunt this fall. Drew an October Coues tag in Arizona. I am devouring everything I can find on Coues as well as the area I will be hunting. I didn’t see a very recent thread on Coues and have been through pretty much everything I can find on here. Over...

    Kaibab Plateau Early Rifle Hunt

Late to the game but thanks for taking us along. I enjoyed reading through this thread. I should be hunting spring turkey in this area this upcoming spring or the next. Seeing your pics makes me even more excited for it.

A Pastor Lays His hands on the flock

That is fair. People here get along much better than what is portrayed, though I suppose that probably goes for most places. I sure don’t feel all the social strife that I hear about when I am out and about. Most folks are plumb neighborly regardless of race, religion sexual orientation...

A Pastor Lays His hands on the flock

The neighbor that is complaining is the same neighbor that has been harassing this guys family and congregation for years. The same neighbor who has had numerous complaints levied against them with nothing done because of family ties with local law enforcement. Not to mention the heat index at...

The Great HT 2026 weigh in.

Great thread. I could use the extra motivation so I will play along. I last weighed on 6/20, was 218. My goal is 200 by September 1st and 190 by November 1st. Started at 225 on May 19th so have made some progress so far. I have developed an insertional achilles issue on my right foot so that...

    Arizona Draw Results 2026

Congrats! I looked pretty hard at 24A. That is the Superstitions, right? Ended up going with 22 because I like some of the old western novels by Louis L’amour and Zane Grey and a few of my favorites were in that area just below the Mogollon. Two birds, one stone so to speak.

    Arizona Draw Results 2026

Thanks. I was on my phone and failed to scroll over like the rocket surgeon I am… I drew an October Coues tag. Very excited to hunt something new in an area I have never experienced. It should be a blast.

    MLB

As a long time Brewers fan from way down in Louisiana, I concur with this. I took a long break from following the game closely (5 or 6 years) but got back into it mid season last year. I became a Brewers fan as a kid because I thought beer was cool lol.
