    Sask elk down!

Been bow hunting this area for a couple weeks seeing mostly cows with the odd bull. September 14th the night before rifle season opened I saw a cow and raghorn feed in this hay field at last light. Snuck in this morning nothing and then a rainstorm hit so I left. Tonight I was back out there...

    2026 Garden

Frost last night finished it off. Was a good year lots of beets and carrots in the ground still. Picked many many beans this summer way less of them next year. Lots of tomatoes but not real big. Picked them all today and they are inside ripening now

    Bear tag, after the shot?

We render our bear fat. Now it has to be a big color for me to save the hide. I have so many already the rest of mine will get sold. When in doubt go with bear sausage

    Do you remember your first?

Yes bought a Lee starter kit. Some of the stuff in there I didn’t like. Got a scale and rcbs powder dispenser very shortly after. My dad taught me how to reload so wasn’t a big deal to get my own equipment. I still have my setup. Don’t reload enough to worry too much about upgrading. Would like...
