This one's gotta hurt !
Been getting quite a few pictures of this buck. Must have snapped his right beam off while the blood is really pumping. Almost looks like a punching bag hanging from the stub. I hope he hangs around , it'll be interesting to see what comes of this. Never saw anything quite like it before. -

blizzard birds
The Wisconsin dnr has adult learn to hunt classes. This last weekend was the ' learn to turkey hunt , hunt ' . Less than ideal conditions. Actually almost blizzard like , with 40 mph wind gusts ,sleet, then snow. There were 16 hunters , each hunter had a mentor. We stayed at a bed and breakfast...- johnp

Surplus non res combo
Now that the drawing for non resident combo licenses is done . I have tried with no luck to see if they sold out , just curious to know if there will be over the counter elk or deer combo non res . again this year. John- johnp
