The bolt lift is fine it just doesn't want to pull the fired case out sometimes without hitting with something. As soon as it moves it will eject easily. No marks on the cases what so ever -

I am hav6the same problems with my brand new savage 7mm backcountry, about every 3rd round I have to use a mallet to open the bolt to eject the fired casing. I have put 10 Rounds through it and cleaned it with a nylon brush and about 50 patches. Fired an15 rounds through it and the same thing...
