The length is something you have to account for, BUT, I have taken it places 95% truck owners will never see.....especially since I put it on 35s (with only the 2in level),the locker and full RCI skid plates. I bought about the lowest trim I could get when I bought mine (F150 XL) but had a couple must haves.....4x4, locker, 8 foot bed, extended cab, V8. It took me 6-8 months to find it. When I did, it was in OH at a dealership that clears out "over orders" so it had the alloy wheels and chrome that...- SFC B

Fly In Hunt Access on Landlocked Public
Not just a MT thing for sure. The public I hunt most of the time here in CO has large ranches on 3 sides. Funny how if you are up there in the summer when the cattle are up on public you NEVER see small private planes......as soon as the first bit of hunting season starts that HAVE to use them...- SFC B

Going to shoot for the last time (probably) before I leave for home....then won't be back here until Thanksgiving. Where to eat in Casper Wyoming
We just got back from hunting 47 (stayed outside Casper) and ate twice that week at Mac's Smokehouse Bar& Grill. First time was because it was close to the airport when we got there. Good enough to make the second trip in the week. Brisket, sausage and pulled pork were all very good, tots...- SFC B

When I graduated from college I was dispatching at the Sheriff's Dept waiting for a Deputy slot to open up. It was the county over from where I lived so it was about a 20 mile trip one way. Yesterday was another gorgeous day. Spent all day off road WAY back in BLM and HMA pieces. Saw quite a few goats of various sizes. Saw a beautiful golden eagle up close- I love raptors.
