    Thank you for the information. I did draw what I wanted for my first choice. I didn't realize that surrendered tags were put back in for the second draw. I thought they automatically went to the leftover draw after the second draw. That makes complete sense now that I think about it.

    anyone here use 223 on hogs or deer?

    Down here in TX an AR with 5.56 or .223 is the go to for hogs. Headshots drop them every time. I have also shot many deer with a .223 and it works just as well as my 30.06. I will say I don't think it is as forgiving so bullet placement is paramount.
