    That seems to be what I’ve seen as well. You have to hunt the clear cuts and regens to find deer. I wouldn’t call the logging aggressive.

    Here in NE Minnesota. It’s basically buck only. I’ll shoot a 3” unicorn buck if it were to walk by because that will have been the only deer I saw all season. Moral of the story there is no deer so if you want meat shoot the first legal deer you see. Typically more 🐺 than any other animals...

    Who here shoots a peep sight?

    I did on my win 94 until the adjustment screw broke during Covid and was able to find a replacement then. Swap some fiber optic iron on. The rifle hasn’t been as accurate since. I haven’t gotten around to getting a new peep since.

    I’ve been working on a load for the 139gr LRX but haven’t found a great one yet for my wife’s rifle. I found a great one for the 120ttsx which is going 3150fps.

    I’m not even that old and I believe that the 7mm08 is a misunderstood and under utilized cartridge. Everyone needs I’ve ever shoot was fantastic and never let my wife down.
