    Remington Model 7 in 7mm-08. Still have it. It’s a tack driver. Will be my kids’ first hunting rifle too.

    No problem. Also have a Ridgeline, but went with the Mesa because the carbon fiber barrels don't fit well in scabbards at all if you do any horseback hunting.
