    Turkey help

Yeah it seems like I may have called too much and got too eager on the movement. I like the moving the leaves idea, didn’t do that and may have made the difference with the short window I had with the weather. Hopefully will have a better outcome in the coming weeks. Thank you guys!

    Turkey help

Hey guys, first time ever turkey hunting and with the little experience I have, it was a pretty eventful morning. I was able to get a gobble at my last stand about 200 yards away. I called two more times and he responded but then stopped. I waited for 15 minutes to see if he’d show but he...

    A little help in CO

I would agree. If you shoot a pronghorn buck that’s been chasing does all day, probably going to be a little tougher. I’ve had a pronghorn doe that tasted almost as good as the elk I shot the year prior!

    CO Pronghorn hunt recap

Pronghorn is my favorite animal to hunt, so during pronghorn season, I guide a few hunts. I know that guided hunts and private land hunting aren’t super popular here, which is why it took me over five months to post this story. However, I thought you all might appreciate it! This past year, I...

    Favorite wild game finger food/appetizer?

We did bacon wrapped pheasant this year for the first time. Super good! We smoked it for 20 minutes after brining for 24 hours. We used a chicken rub on it as well

    Need advice

Hey guys, need some advice and hope you can help. I drew an archery buck Muley tag and grabbed an OTC either sex elk tag for Colorado. Did a lot of scouting during the summer and was originally going to focus on the buck tag since I used points for it. However through my scouting I was seeing a...

    Gun cleaning frequency

Was talking with my dad about cleaning guns and now curious. How often is everyone here cleaning their guns? Every time you shoot? Every other? More often for daily carry? Personally I try to clean my daily carry once to twice a month and hunting rifles as we shoot throughout the year...

Polaris Ranger/Honda Pioneer what is enough?

I’ve never felt like it’s too weak, but it would be nice to go over 25 miles an hour every once in a while on those dirt roads getting from spot to spot. Not often but still would be nice.

Polaris Ranger/Honda Pioneer what is enough?

I have the pioneer 520. For the most part I’m by myself, occasionally will have another person with me. It can be kind of tight with two people and an animal in the back. Definitely aren’t going to be hauling a ton of gear AND an animal in the bed. Just my two cents
