Stupid Wisconsin rules hunters like.
I'm glad I started hunting WI after the back tags....always seemed weird and cumbersome. In IN we can only quarter once we have checked the deer in online. I am on an IN specific forum and am trying to move guys toward it, especially the folks in hilly Southern IN. Makes it MUCH easier to...- SFC B

WHEN WILL IT END???????? I'll be so glad for 11/04
TV, my phone, even streaming services......I swear I just don't really want to be AROUND people at all most of the time. I don't care if I agree with you.....I'm NOT interested in discussing anything political with 99% of people because it seems currently impossible for most to separate...- SFC B

Trying new rifles this season
Selling like I do, my suggestions for brands that I would trust and offer a fairly wide range of offerings would be pretty short....Tikka (I am a bit of a fan boy), Bergara, and Weatherby....Sig and Seekins (but they are out of the "entry" level). One question about the Howa/Weatherby... -
Rangefinders that don’t suck
If you have the money (and will to use it :) ), check out the features on THIS dude. We demo'd it off of the roof of our store and where getting ranges across the interstate on USAFA +- 2 miles away. It can do some CRAZY stuff. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/798183/ -

Time to retire the Buck 110
Benchmade makes some really nice stuff I have a large fixed blade and an auto opener that were both issued to me for deployments, as well as a Meatcrafter I use for butchering/meat work. All hold edges well and are great. The Meatcrafter is valuable in processing. I also have an Outdoor Edge...- SFC B

April Showers.
Just saw this. Very sorry for your loss. The most telling tribute to a person who has past is the intention of love when they spoken of. I pray your memories bring you comfort. Bless her soul.- SFC B

Leupold scopes love or hate em?
Viper HD 2-10 Vortex VX-3 HD 3.5-10 Leupold Comparable scopes, plenty for those distances. Good but not crazy expensive. -
So, how is the retirement gig?
Wonderful. I have been fully retired at right at 6 years now and have not regretted the decision once. Being in control of your schedule, not HAVING to set an alarm and being able to spend time with those you want to are priceless. It will take you a bit to really get into it but it is awesome.- SFC B

CO suspends lethal control policy of wolf reintroduction, will be "more conservative" in future killing decisions.
From the moment this entire fiasco began it has been a shit show. The way this state allows these ridiculous ballot initiatives is almost comical. Taking decisions like this out of the hands of the biologists (and then forcing the staff CPW try and unfornicate things) borders on crazy......but...- SFC B

When did you know a hunting partner wasn’t going to last? I’ll go first…
With respect to your thought about values, I am in the spot of TRYING to get something for my family moving forward, having had absolutely zero on either side of my family. As most of you may know by now, we have purchased a house and are moving home (eventually). It is on a nice lot with a...- SFC B
