Yep, remember that video.
Pretty hard to justify settling on something with a 6 round capacity and no magazine for timely loading/unloading. Expecially if you spend any time in a state where you dont have a valid carry permit that requires pistols to be cased/unloaded.
In professions where...
After mostly shooting around people who are semi serious about it, it’s a good annual reminder of what the average casual hunter is like.. you’d be shocked how hard it is to keep bullets in a 3” dot at 100 yards for many folks.
Lot of truth to that except if a guy wants to shoot heavier tipped bullets like 73 ELD or 77 TMK the economics come into play. Can load the 73 ELDs for about 50 cents a round and the 77 TMK for about 60 cents compared to usually well over $1/ea and the factory stuff is often loaded to 223...
Forgot, I make sure shoulder bump is a little above min too.. Like if i'm getting 1.5-2.5 thou shoulder bump on a bolt gun, i'll screw the die in another thou or two for a gas gun so there is never any resistance going into battery.
I'm no expert but i haven't done anything different besides trying to not run really low neck tension.
Biggest differences for me is just that gas guns are prone to beating up brass and making it filthy so I have to actually clean it before resizing and having to load to shorter COALs to fit in...
I'm not saying there aren't many things in our environment, food, water, etc that should be considered. Simply that I wish I had done more research and i absolutely would if given another chance.
Or just ignore it and trust that the people who created covid in a lab and told us it came from a...
If I were having more children i'd do some heavy research into vaccines before choosing what my children would recieve. Been seeing a lot lately that the standard vax schedule seems to correlate to much higher occurence of neurological issues like ADD/ADHD.
6.5 creed is my vote. Peak + made it all the more versatile.
I primarily use a 18" 6 creed for hunting. Would consider spinning the 18" 6.5 barrel on or using my 7 SAUM if I were elk hunting but wouldn't be afraid to use the 6 either.
I've bought a couple houses that were well below what I would be approved for in 2018 and 2020. If I could go back to 2020 knowing what I know now, i'd have looked more closely at more expensive houses and be plumb happy with my bigger 2.8% mortgage and appreciation.
I dont understand the expectation that any bullet would all but guarantee a good blood trail? I dont think the ELDx is the holy grail in terminal performance by any stretch but it seems like some people have unrealistic expectations.
Read the first few posts, need to come back when I have time. I read the OP and wondered "Is that guy me?". I got diagnosed when I was 26 when I really started struggling at work. A decade of intense career focus was good for me and I was able to do pretty well. Now that Ive gotten to the...
