The wife and I bought a freeze dryer last year and what I was scared of has happened. I spent $1800 used it for 3 months and then pretty much forgot about it. Ruger 77 Tang Safety - action screws torque setting?
I agree 100% less likely to strip the bolt as well. I absolutely detest ANY slotted screw/bolt. -

I have not done an in depth quote but from what i have been told im looking at about 20k. I have an ton of south facing windows. It's great in the winter because it warms up the house but the summer can get brutal.- Hams42

Going to give this a try. Gave my dad's gun a good clean and tear down when he asked me to get it threaded. Prior to the tear down I had made a load for it and it was shooting about 1.25 to 1.5 MOA. This last year wasnt too bad for us. The warm weather helped. I think i just paid $400 ish to top off the tank. Do they have a leak somewhere? My home is about 2400 sq ft and we usually use about 300 to 400 gallons a year. Back to the OG thread. Prices have definitely affected my drive 2 hours...- Hams42

Threading and chopping a barrel?
The 6.5s are separate rifles. The 308 came with an 18". Granted I probably only have about 180 rounds through it but it is consistently 300 fps slower than book speeds. Same thing with the 20" 6.5 only have about 120 rounds through it so there is still time for it to speed up. -

From my experience I was losing about 50 fps per inch of barrel. This was with a 20" in 6.5 CM compared to a 22" 6.5 CM. With all of my .308 win ladder tests and load development with an 18" barrel I was also seeing 50 fps per inch compared to book speeds. I will probably not go shorter than... -

1999 Ford Ranger with 65,000 miles on it. Was an extended cab with a step side. I was 18 and thought i needed a bigger truck. I sold the ranger and bought an 01 F-150. The F-150 proved to be the worst vehicle I've owned. Bought it for $8,100 and then had to put over $10k in repairs over the next...- Hams42

I talked to you last fall. I had the same tag. It was a BRUTAL year for elk on public land. Again I'm glad you made it happen it took me until the last day of season to finally get a small 5x6. The bear scat made me laugh because I like I counted 25 piles in one of the drainages I was hunting! -
New to Montana Billings area
Best advise I can give you is put some miles on your tires. I personally try to stay as far away from Billings as I can. Billings is the "big" city of MT. The influx of population in the last 15 years has caused the close hunting areas to get slammed. -

Same reason I stopped using Accubonds.
