    I can't think of a reason to switch if you like your Kenetrek boots. Buy a new pair on sale and spend your time experimenting with something else other than boots. This from a guy who did what you are suggesting and am back wearing Kenetrek.

    No matter how fast you board the plane you can still sit on the taxiway for 20 minutes or more waiting in line to takeoff. I have 1 more trip home (3 flights) and if I never get on a jet again in my life I will consider myself lucky. The whole process is a circus.

    I cut 6 to 8 cords a year of lodgepole and fir mixed. I use a snatchblock and a synthetic winch line on the majority of it these days. I enjoy doing it solo and like hunting I don't consider it work.
